Decorative Overlay is a polymer modified cement coating that is applied on top of existing flatwork such as stamped concrete, broom finished patios, pea gravel, etc. It can be applied onto any concrete surface. We add texture and any design you want, as well as color and an acrylic sealer to protect your new beautiful surface.

Overlay is a perfect choice for homeowners that want a decorative finish applied to existing flatwork such as a pool deck or a patio but don't want to spend a fortune to break out/remove their existing patio and install stamped concrete.

How it's done
PREP WORK
OVERLAY APPLICATION
COLOR APPLICATION
Asses if flatwork requires grinding to acquire a smooth surface to apply overlay onto.
Pressure wash all flatwork.
Apply primer for bonding of overlay cement.
Apply polymer modified overlay cement at 1/8in or 1/4in thickness.
Apply texture and hand carve design throughout overlay.
Apply primary color (color combinations available).
Apply grout.
Apply acrylic sealant.
Install mastic expansion joints (various color choices).
